INFORMATION
DRESS AND GROOMING CODE (DGC)
DES introduced a Dress and Grooming Code (DGC) to accomplish standardization thereby discouraging unhealthy competitiveness in attire. DES uniforms are custom-designed to the highest quality standards. In addition, it lists regulations for the essential grooming of students and employees. All uniforms should be purchased at The Delta Store, which is the designated DES uniform and book store located on campus.

1. Girls with long or shoulder length hair should braid it in two and tie it with sky blue/white ribbons depending on whether it is a school/PE day respectively.
2. Girls with a blunt hair cut or boy cut should wear a broad hair band that is fabric-based in texture. The hair band should be navy blue/white depending on whether it is a school/PE day respectively.
3. Boys should maintain a short hair cut. Sideburns shall be no more than half inch below the top portion of the ear and shall not be flared.
4. Elaborate jewelry of any kind, except ear studs, are not permitted on campus for girls. In the event that jewelry becomes lost or misplaced, DES or its faculty/staff shall bear no responsibility in replacing or reimbursing the missing jewelry.
5. Head gear like caps and hats are not permitted inside the school campus.
6. A student found to repeatedly disregard the DGC shall be subjected to appropriate disciplinary actions set forth by ARC.
7. The DGC may be modified as needed according to the sole discretion of DES, who will notify the parent of such changes.
