PROMOTION

All new admissions for prospective students and promotion for current students to the next grade level are upon the sole discretion of the Admission and Review Committee (ARC). Any decision undertaken by ARC remains final and shall not be challenged by another authority, either within or outside DES.

Promotion shall be based on the mastery of the curriculum, which will be established through the grades received for an academic year. Expectations and standards for promotion are established by ARC for each grade level.

ARC has initiated the Delta Automatic Admissions program, where all children enrolled at Delta Nursery (DN) will be guaranteed automatic admission to the kindergarten division of DES, at the end of their tenure at DN. Promotion from DN to DES will be granted, provided the student’s age requirements fulfills the criteria set by the ministry of education.
